I have achieved several significant milestones in my athletic pursuits. I completed my first marathon in under four hours and also took on the inaugural Goofy Challenge, which involved running a half marathon on Saturday followed by a full marathon on Sunday. Additionally, I placed 4th female overall in the 6 Gap Century ride, a demanding event covering over 100 miles and 10,000 feet of climbing through the North Georgia mountains. I also participated in a bodybuilding contest and am currently working toward earning my black belt in taekwondo.

Qualifications

I have been a boxing fitness coach for approximately seven years and hold a NASM certification in personal training.

Kristin

Growing up in a small town in New York, I was deeply involved in sports, especially softball, and was honored to be selected for several All-Star teams. This competitive spirit helped lead my high school softball team to a State Championship. After moving to Florida with my mom, I transitioned from a career in graphic arts at a tourist magazine to discovering my passion for boxing, which I was introduced to by a colleague. This experience inspired me to become a boxing coach. Personal challenges have shaped my coaching journey. Today, I use my experiences to inspire and empower others, helping them overcome their challenges through boxing.

When I first began boxing, there was one coach whose classes stood out as the most challenging. Completing his sessions—sometimes even multiple in a day—became a personal mission for me. I thrived on pushing myself to the limits and discovering just how far I could go. I want to bring that same spirit of challenge to our members, helping them realize their full potential and experience the same sense of accomplishment after each class.

My goal with our members is to help them see the full extent of their capabilities. I aim to replace the feeling of “I can’t” with “How amazing am I?” By fostering a mindset that acknowledges challenges but embraces strength, I want to teach that, even when things aren’t easy, they have the power to accomplish anything they set their minds to.
